Privacy Policy

Proof Digital is a digital marketing agency based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. We operate Wendell at wendell.bot. Questions or requests about your data: agent@proofdigital.app.

We collect data in three buckets:

1. Account data. Your name, email address, and a password hash (managed by our authentication provider, Clerk). Optional phone number if you choose to enable SMS or WhatsApp messaging.
2. Integration credentials. Tokens, cookies, and API keys you authorize us to use on your behalf when connecting third-party platforms (e.g. WordPress, Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn, listing data providers). These are stored encrypted at rest and never displayed back to you in plaintext after entry.
3. Operational data. Chat messages you exchange with the agent, content the agent drafts or publishes on your behalf, scheduled task records, screenshots and logs the agent generates while doing work, messaging metadata (SMS / WhatsApp send and delivery status) from Twilio, and basic product analytics (which pages you visit, which actions you take).

We do not collect data you did not authorize us to collect, and we do not buy or scrape personal data about you from third parties.

We use your data to:

• Run the product you signed up for (draft and publish content, run audits, send messages, post to connected platforms).
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Send you product email and (if enabled) SMS or WhatsApp messages.
• Improve the product (debugging, performance, identifying which features get used).
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data to train machine-learning models, and we do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

We share specific data with specific service providers, only as needed to deliver the product:

• Clerk (authentication): your email, name, and password hash.
• Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Groq (model inference): the contents of chat messages, agent prompts, and content the agent is generating. These providers process data on our behalf and do not retain it for training under our agreements.
• Twilio (messaging): the phone number you verify, and the body of any SMS or WhatsApp message you send to or receive from the agent.
• Fly.io (hosting): everything else, because that is where the app and database run.
• Google: if you connect Google Analytics or Search Console, we read data from those properties on your behalf using the credentials you authorize.
• Meta / Facebook, LinkedIn, other platforms you connect: we post content and read account state using the OAuth scopes or session you authorize.
• Other listing data providers you connect (e.g. Moxiworks, Aptly, real-estate MLS feeds): we read inventory data on your behalf.

We do not share customer data between tenants. Data from one customer is never used to inform another customer's account.

The Wendell application and its primary database run on Fly.io infrastructure. Encrypted backups are stored on the same infrastructure. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Sensitive credentials (integration tokens, third-party passwords) are encrypted at rest using an application-managed encryption key.

We retain your account data and operational data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep (e.g. billing and tax records).

You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing agent@proofdigital.app.

• Disconnect any integration from the Integrations tab in your account settings at any time. Disconnecting removes the stored credentials.
• Disable messaging by removing your phone number on the Messaging tab.
• Export your data on request. Email agent@proofdigital.app.
• Delete your account on request. Email agent@proofdigital.app.
• Withdraw consent for any specific data use by contacting us.

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember UI preferences (active workspace, last-visited tab). We do not use advertising cookies and we do not embed third-party trackers for marketing purposes.

Wendell is a business tool intended for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contactagent@proofdigital.app and we will delete it.

We will update this policy when the product changes in ways that affect how we handle your data. For material changes we will notify active customers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
